I'm Gabrielle Alice...
...and this is Nika, my fantastic fur friend featured on the home page. She's a rescued supermutt. Since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, I wanted to spend all my time with animals and my sketchbook. Not knowing how to make this into a career as I left high school, I pivoted to my other love: drawing buildings. My degree in Architecture from Cal Poly SLO catapulted me into an exciting 17-year adventure designing buildings and lighting in four countries.
Today I'm living a whole new adventure in design, building this life in fine art and illustration!
I use a variety of mediums including watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and digital creations drawn on a tablet.
The Gabrialice brand was born from my wish to ignite the bright silly cheekiness within us all. Adventure with us!
